We began operation in Australia in 1934 and in New Zealand in 1997.
In 1972, Beiersdorf Australia had a turnover of approximately AUD3.2 million with a staff of 25. By 2008 The Company’s turnover, both Australia and NZ, had grown to over AUD138 million, with over 200 employees.
Our contemporary Head Office, which was opened in 1995 by our former Prime Minister, John Howard, is located at our North Ryde (Sydney) site. We also have a modern National Distribution Centre at Huntingwood (Sydney) with state offices in South Australia, Queensland and Victoria. Our New Zealand office is in Auckland.
Responsibilities for Corporate Citizenship are taken very seriously by Beiersdorf. This can easily be seen by our commitment – via our brands - to a variety of charitable organisations including The Salvation Army, Sister2sister, numerous sporting organisations including Rugby Union, A League Soccer and AFL teams.
